Turing Patterns

This simulates the Gray-Scott model, a mathematical model of reaction-diffusion systems. Two virtual chemicals interact and diffuse, creating complex patterns reminiscent of those found in nature. Toggle 3D Mode to see the patterns rendered as a dynamic landscape.

Feed Rate (f): The rate at which chemical 'A' is added to the system.

Kill Rate (k): The rate at which chemical 'B' is removed.

In 2D mode, click and drag to add chemical 'B'. In 3D mode, use your mouse to orbit the camera.
